4.1 Introduction
This chapter explains how to use and display non-radar information that may
beavailablefromotherunitsconnectedtoyoursystem.Italsoexplainshowto
usetheman overboard (MOB) function.You can use thischapterwiththe
radar display set to simulatormode,oronthewaterafteryouhaveinstalled
andset up your PathfinderRadar system.
Inorderto usethesefunctions,you needthe followingadditionaldatafrom
equipmentconnectedto your system viaa SeaTalk,NMEA or

everyopportunitytocomparethe radar’sdisplay patternswithvisual targets,
