picture(thelabel CTR isdisplayed).SeeMoving and deletingitems with the

➤ Toreturnthecenterof theradarpictureto the centerofthe screen,selectthe
centerpoint(CTR ) then presstheCLEAR key. Thecenteris alwaysresetto the
centerofthedisplaywhen you turn on the Radardisplay.
Note:Whenthe centeris offset,additionalrangeringsaredisplayedtothe
edgeoftheradarpicture,atthestandardringintervalforthecurrentrange.If
youhave selectedthe longestrangescale,youcannot offsetthecenter.
Hiding the Ship’s Heading Marker (SHM)
Theradarpictureincludestheship’sheadingmarker,whichisalinefromyour
vessel’spositiontotheedge of the pictureat the vessel’s currentheading.In
thestandardHeadUpmode,the heading markeris always a verticalline.
Ifyou wish to check forsmalltargetsthatmaybehiddenunderthe heading
marker,you can hide itmomentarily usingthe context-sensitive cursor.
➤ To hidethe heading marker:
1. Positionthecursoroverthe headingmarker,sothatthe textSHM isdis-
played.
2. PressandholdCLEAR.The headingmarkerishiddenuntilyoureleasethe
CLEAR key.
