Editing Entries in the Waypoint, Route, or Track Lists
Youcanalsouse the NavigatorKeypadto edit an existingitemortonamea
newitem in the WaypointList, Route List,or Track List. You firstmustenter
theeditmode forthe listyou wanttomodify. Methodsforeditingeachlistare
describedintherespectivesectionsof this chapter.
➤ Toeditan item ina listusing theNavigatorKeypad:
1. Ifnecessary,usethe right andleftarrowkeystomovethecursortothe
desiredcharacterposition.
2. Pressan alphanumerickey until thedesired character isdisplayed.Each
timeyoupressone ofthesekeysin succession,the next characteron that
keyisinput.

1. Usetheupanddownarrowkeystoscrollthroughthelistofalpha,numeric,
andspecialcharacters untilthedesiredcharacteris displayed(justas you
wouldwith thetrackpad).Notethat you mustuse this methodto input spe-
cialcharacters;theyarenotavailable using thealphanumerickeys.
Usethe del keytoinserta space,ifrequired.
2. Usethearrowkeys and alphanumerickeys to inputtheremainderofthe
characters requiredto completethe editing.
3. Whendone, press theins keyto enteryourchanges.
