4.15How do I edit my routes and tracks?
Once you have created a route or track, it can be edited in a variety of ways. You can:
• Reverse a route (see
page 4-19
)
• Amend the course of a route (see
page 4-30
).
• Change the name of a route or track (see
page 4-34
).
• Change the color of a route or track (see
page 4-34
).
• Erase a route or track (see
page 4-35
).
For a route or track to be edited it must first be selected
Note:
An active route can be edited, with the exception of the target waypoint. If a
waypoint being edited becomes the target, then the system shall cancel the edit; the
waypoint shall remain in its original position.
Selecting a route or track for editing
To select a route...
1. Press REVIEW & EDIT ROUTES. The route list together with the associated soft
keys are displayed:
2. Select the required route.
You can now edit the route as described on
page 4-30
.
Note:
Alternately, the appropriate route can be selected on screen with the cursor.
To select a track...
1. Press REVIEW & EDIT TRACKS. The track list and associated soft keys are shown:
